6/6 At this early stage, we envision @rarible as the first interface for users to interact with the RARI Chain. We also want to see developers and tech-savvy creators come and play around, building something cool. All while knowing that royalties will always be a #1 priority.

4/6 When choosing a partner to make it happen, ecosystem component was just as important as a tech stack. @arbitrum Orbit was a top-3 choice from the start. What tipped the scales was the fact that they support L3s – a direction we decided to go with the RARI chain.

3/6 From day 1, we aimed to create a tooling for the creator economy and creators who see web3 not simply as a place of transition, but as a permanent home – a place where they can make a decent living, with royalties as a big part of the equation.

5/6 To date, opportunities like gasless transactions and storing art on-chain were cost-prohibited. Powered by @arbitrum , the RARI Chain allows for these and many more features to drive experiences that feel web2, but have robust web3 at the backend.

2/6 We first started exploring the idea of a creator-centric chain around late summer, right after the royalties controversy that shook up the space. When royalties are not enforceable, someone will always opt out and gain advantage because of it. This had to change.
